better known as “Juffrouw Paul, Caatje or Oehoe”
*23 September 1932 – †02 June 2026
She joins her twin brothers Sylvan (Chikito) and Sylvester (Grandi) Paul, who have gone before her.
She is survived by her great-nephew, Eric (Ricky) Johnson, who is like a son, and the mother of his children Juliana Arrindell.

A special thank you goes to the prayer group Communidad Carmelita Sta. Theresita di Niño who came to her home to faithfully pray and sing with her when she could no longer attend church.
Special thanks go to her housekeepers Lynette & Fabiola, who made sure the house was always spick and span.
Our heartfelt thanks go to her caretakers: Judith, Nora, Maria, Pamela, Lizeth, Mirian, Delfine, Fabiola, Zoila, who made sure she never slept alone in the past six years and cared for her lovingly.
Special thanks to her hairdresser Aichel Aniceta who would always do her hair with love.
We would also like to thank all medical staff at IMSAN, especially the Wonden Poli and also the nurses from the Witgele Kruis.
The wake will be held on Tuesday, 09 June 2026 at Olive Tree Funeral Care & Crematory in San Nicolas from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
The Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, 10 June 2026 in the Santa Theresita Church in San Nicolas from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
The viewing will be from 2:00pm – 3:30pm followed by the church service from 3:30pm – 4:00pm.
Veronica will be laid to rest in the cemetery of Sabana Basora.
If we have forgotten anybody in our grief, please forgive us.
